Halloween is just around the corner! With the list of Things to Do On Your Birthday being one of my most popular posts, I figured I should make a list of activities for my favorite holiday and time of the year.

Celebrate the spooky season and make it a scary good time with this fun list of ideas. 

  1. Have a scary movie marathon at home
  2. Go to the movies and watch a horror movie
  3. Give out candy to trick or treaters
  4. Host a Halloween party
  5. Go to a Halloween party
  6. Dance to Halloween-themed music
  7. Create Halloween-themed food, desserts, and snacks
  8. Go to a pumpkin patch
  9. Go on a hay ride
  10. Go to a corn maze
  11. Carve Jack-o’-Lanterns
  12. Paint pumpkins
  13. Bake pumpkin seeds
  14. Make pumpkin pie (or apple pie)
  15. Have a pumpkin photoshoot whether that be with pumpkins around you or a Jack-o’-Lantern on your head
  16. Visit an actual haunted location
  17. Go on a haunted tour (you can even do virtual haunted tours)

  19. Go to a Halloween theme park event like Halloween Horror Nights
  20. Drive around and look at Halloween decorations
  21. Make a DIY costume

  24. Dress up your pets in costume (and do a photoshoot)

  26. Create a short scary movie with some friends
  27. Make scary TikTok videos
